The LIBZ Academy : a unique rugby academy in France

The LIBZ Academy was founded by Brian Liebenberg with the purpose of introducing an innovative concept to French Rugby which existed already in other countries but not in France yet. This concept involves engaging professional players in the teaching of rugby to all levels – from the school of rugby to senior teams.

Brian has the specialty of having a large international experience in teaching rugby in the southern and northern hemisphere. When he mentioned this mobile academy project to his former team-mates and opponents of the field, they fully embraced and agreed to give their support.

The purpose of the academy is to share individual techniques acquired at the highest level, game experiences, match strategies and life moments with young rugby players and educators.

The academy offers workshops everywhere in France. The trainers are professional players paired with local rugby educators. The internship is for young people, educators and seniors.

There are two types of workshops:

One-day training- The individual technique: learning and integrating it into the weekly training.

Training of several days – 100% Rugby Program: All aspects of the game are studied and practiced. A very complete workshop. Professional training.
